The User Office Secretariat (UOS) within ISIS@MACH (ISIS NODO ITALIA), provides skills and technical information about the portafolio of tools offered at the research infrastructure. UOS supports the full lifecycle of user proposals (link), from first explorative contact by the user to data management. The UOS provides feedback to requests and questions by users and liaise with instrument scientists and specific instruments.

A mechanism of peer review is used to rapidly obtain technical responses from the installations and the best solution for the user is setup.

The first step in approaching ISIS@MACH for specific technical questions is made by sending an e-mail to useroffice@isis_mach.
